DCAI and Dubai Future Accelerators ran the first dedicated Generative AI programme for government in Dubai. It opened with a challenge discovery journey across 33 Dubai government entities, which surfaced a pool of 183 potential GenAI use cases.
DFA then built a three-month innovation sandbox — an experimental testbed where leading AI companies worked directly with government stakeholders to trial solutions and validate their impact inside a supportive regulatory environment.
Seventy-five pilot projects were delivered and fifteen with the clearest path to scale, spanning customer service, healthcare, accessibility, information access, urban planning, trade, workforce, investment, public finance and Media.
