In June 2023, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dubai Future Foundation, announced the launch of the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) at AREA 2071, Emirates Towers. The Centre was established to support government entities in deploying artificial intelligence and future technologies across key sectors.
